Beautifully decorated traditional Japanese inn with warm colors, wood and tatami. Artwork, textiles, and fresh flowers are impressive. Nourishing and delicious breakfast. Staff treats you like family. Lovely garden view from spacious, elegant room.

From the moment we walked into this charming ryokan, we knew we were in for a treat. The traditional Japanese architecture and beautiful garden instantly transported us to a different world. The dinner experience, specifically the shabushabu, was absolutely mouthwatering, with top-notch beef that left us wanting more. We believe that this ryokan is truly worth visiting and spending a whole day at while exploring Karatsu.

The location of the hotel is convenient, as it is close to the train station, Karatsu castle, and the pine forest. The rooms are cozy and the bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious and there is attention to every detail. The view from the room is stunning, with slate roofs and pine trees in the moonlight.

The soundproofing is not the best, so noise from other guests may disturb your stay.

The hotel is located near a magnificent traditional Japanese garden, providing a truly serene and authentic atmosphere. The rooms with a garden view are simply stunning, with elegantly designed interiors and very comfortable futon beds. The breakfast offered at this hotel is a true delight, with a wide range of local specialties to satisfy your taste buds.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about in this hotel. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional.

The hotel's traditional feel and the staff's hospitality make it a unique place to stay. the gardens make you feel like you're in a different world. the pick-up and drop-off service to the station is also a huge plus. the rooms are well-designed and functional, with high-quality bedding and many reading materials available.

The sound-proofing of the traditional building is not great. You can hear everything that's going on around you, which is not ideal if you need a good night's sleep.
