My stay at Kyo Yunohana Resort Suisen was absolutely incredible. The private wooden onsen on the balcony was a dream come true, with a serene view of the beautiful garden below. The staff was beyond attentive and welcoming, ensuring a perfect stay. The traditional Japanese cuisine served for dinner and breakfast was breathtakingly delicious. The spotless and spacious Japanese Tatami room added to the authenticity of the experience. I couldn't have asked for a better ryokan stay. We spent this Christmas holiday at a luxurious ryokan with a private onsen and it was just perfect! the spacious room had all the amenities we could think of, from an array of complimentary drinks and snacks to waffle pyjamas and a light kimono to wear around. We especially enjoyed the outdoor private bath overlooking the beautiful gardens. the traditional dinner was a true highlight, with a dozen courses of seasonal specialties that catered to our dietary restrictions. the service was impeccable, from the shuttle bus that picked us up from the nearby station to the farewell origami.

The location was quite far from the main city, but in the end it was a good thing as it allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the tranquility. However, we regretted taking the later shuttle as we wished we could have stayed longer.
