Conveniently located near a temple, the ryokan offers a unique, mystical atmosphere. A beautiful moss garden and artificial waterfall can be enjoyed from the dining room and some bedrooms. The traditional Japanese-style rooms are beautifully decorated with tatami mats and wood elements. a top-notch ryokan experience.

An unforgettable experience of traditional Japanese ryokan culture. The setting of the ryokan in Gion is truly beautiful, surrounded by tranquility and beauty. Our room was delightful, decorated with antique furnishings. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and provided excellent recommendations. The Japanese-style breakfast was one of the best dining experiences we had in Japan. I highly recommend this unique and memorable ryokan experience.

Located in the center of the structure, Yuzuya Ryokan is conveniently close to all bus lines leading to major Kyoto sites as well as the Kamogawa river. The staff speaks excellent English and the traditional Japanese bath in the room, complete with yuzu, provides a unique and relaxing experience. The breakfast and dinner are exceptional, with a variety of delicious dishes. The room is spacious and the futon bed is comfortable. Additionally, there is next bus transportation to a rural area for further exploration.

Noise from traffic outside the Murasaki room can be slightly bothersome.

The hotel has a very central location making it very convenient to get around and explore the area. the staff was friendly and always available to help. Plus, the decor and ambiance of the hotel made the experience very authentic and enjoyable.

The noise from the road was quite loud and made it difficult to sleep at times. the lack of modern amenities may be a downside for some.

Our recent stay at this hotel was truly luxurious and fulfilled all our exclusive needs. the amenities were top-notch and the room was incredibly comfortable with exclusive plush furnishings. the friendly service team was always on hand to assist us with anything that we needed. the hotel's perfect location allowed us to easily explore the city without any hassle.

Although the food was of high quality, we would have expected more choices to suit all needs.

The location was perfect, close to Gion and all the attractions of Higashiyama. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. The Kaiseki dinner was amazing, with unique and interesting dishes. The Japanese style room was truly authentic and beautiful. The ryokan had a peaceful atmosphere and the gardens were stunning.
