banana house and wellness centre in lamu surpassed my expectations during our relaxing holiday. the beautiful setting and kind staff made us feel safe and taken care of. it was the perfect basecamp to explore the island, and the owner even took us on a tour to the dunes. highly recommend staying here.

the onsite chef and yoga/massages were fantastic, beautiful views from the penthouse, and convenient access to town/beach. would definitely stay again after considering other options. Monika, the owner, is a delightful and involved hostess. staff is friendly and helpful, and meals were served in our rooms. overall, a well-managed and pleasant experience.

I had an incredible stay at Banana House And Wellness Centre in Lamu. The moment I arrived, I felt like I was part of a big family. The warm-hearted staff went above and beyond to ensure that my niece and I had a restful and homey experience. The penthouse suite we stayed in was absolutely precious, with a breathtaking view from the top floor. The food was outstanding, and we didn't have to worry about where to eat as all our meals were delivered to our "home". The yoga and massage offerings were a perfect way to unwind and connect with ourselves. The daytrip to Lamu town and the beach added an extra touch of adventure to our stay. If you're seeking a slower pace, surrounded by nature's beauty and genuine people, Banana House is the place to be. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly unforgettable experience.

There were a few issues during my stay that affected my overall experience. The rooms were quite hot and the fans didn't provide much relief, making it difficult to sleep at night.

The breakfast was fantastic, and we also enjoyed refreshing dips in the pool. a great place to stay for a family.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and made me feel at home. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and other beautiful areas. The room service was exceptional, with attention to detail. The hotel was well-equipped, providing handmade shampoo and soaps, as well as beach essentials like Kikoys. The wellness centre services were also worth trying. I especially appreciated the free transportation from the airport.
