We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked with amazing toiletries. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to all our needs. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options. We also loved the small pool outside our room where we enjoyed sipping cocktails. It truly felt like a mini paradise.

The a la carte menu at the hotel's restaurant was a bit pricey.

We spent 3 unforgettable days at Kijani hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The traditional design of the hotel was very nice and our suite's terrace provided a beautiful seaview. The place was laid back, quiet, and comfortable. The manager was extremely helpful and likable. The housekeeper looked after our room competently and with great friendliness. The breakfast was delicious and the terrace was lovely. The staff was hospitable and we enjoyed the snorkeling excursion organized by the hotel.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at a boutique hotel in Lamu. The hotel had a beautiful Swahili architecture and decor, and my suite had its own living area, balcony overlooking the sea, and a stunning bathroom. The hotel provided an oasis of peace and tranquility, with plenty of privacy and cool places to relax by the pools, balconies, and courtyards. The location was perfect, right on the beach and close to other bars, restaurants, and shops in Shela. The restaurant served divine food, especially the seafood platter, and the staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for its quality accommodation, food, and service.

We were pleased with the authentic Swahili design of our room and the fact that it was spacious and well-kept. the breakfast served was quite varied, and included fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt, eggs. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff.

While the hotel is located right on the seafront, we had to wade through water to reach the entrance since there was no pier or jetty available.
