I had a wonderful one-night stay at a clean and beautiful hanok with a great location. The owner couple were friendly and provided excellent hospitality. The traditional hanok room was cozy and the toilet was clean and neat. Despite the winter weather, the room was warm and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the delicious home-cooked Korean breakfast with tasty soup and kimchi. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and varied every day. It was a great way to start the day, especially during Christmas time. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the historic area, making it easy to explore and enjoy the Christmas festivities. the staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to help and answer any questions.

The futon beds. I understand it's part of the traditional experience, but for me, it was uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

hanok story was even better than my last stay in jeonju! the hosts were so warm and kind, going above and beyond to make sure i had a great time. the traditional guesthouse was beautiful with heated floors and a yummy korean breakfast. the location was perfect, right in the hanok village. i can't recommend it enough!

Close to attractions, quiet for sleeping, tasty Korean breakfast. Cons: Couldn’t find a separate shower. Wish I had prepared for the most common thing in Korean hostels. 😄

The location was convenient, as it was within walking distance of many attractions and the nearest bus station. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, despite their limited English. They provided all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning, drinking water, towels, and toiletries. The fridge was a nice bonus, allowing us to keep our drinks cold. we would happily stay at Hanok Story again if we return to Jeonju.

The property is conveniently close to all the attractions, although I got a bit lost in the maze-like streets. The views of the mountains were quite something.

Who needs accurate directions or clear signage anyway? Getting lost in a labyrinth of historical charm was all part of the adventure.
