Stayed at Lian Guesthouse for a week on a leisure trip. Staff was excellent, location was perfect for shopping, food, and clubbing in Hongdae. Friendly and home-like atmosphere, with Nary being the most helpful host. Breakfast provided every morning, including great coffee. Invited to hang out with other guests and made to feel welcomed. Superb hospitality, clean house, and conveniently close to subway station, restaurants, and convenience stores.

The hostel had a homely and relaxed vibe, with a common room where guests could interact and have dinner together. the cleanliness was spot on, and the owner, Nary, made every effort to make guests feel at home. the homemade breakfast was amazing and customizable, cooked personally by Nary. Additionally, Nary went the extra mile to assist with luggage during check-in and check-out, despite the lack of an elevator.

The accommodation felt more like a guest at someone's house rather than a hostel, as there were restrictions on speaking in social areas after 9 pm on some days. the rooms were also quite small, and there was no lift, which made carrying luggage up four flights of stairs challenging.
