It's close enough to all the attractions but far enough away from the tourist traffic. The peaceful atmosphere at the hotel, with its decking built on stilts over a large pond and the soothing sound of running river water, adds to the charm. The rooms at the lakefront are spacious and come with basic amenities like a kettle, tea, and even a mosquito net. The small but clean swimming pool is an added bonus for a refreshing dip.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was excellent. I couldn't believe the affordable prices for such a comfortable and modern room. And speaking of the room, it was spacious, clean and had all the necessary amenities I needed, including air conditioning and a bathtub with hot water in the shower. The hotel's facilities were also impressive, with a beautiful pool and reliable wifi. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. Lastly, the breakfast options were fantastic, especially for someone with dietary restrictions like myself. They had both Asian and Western options, which was a pleasant surprise.

The staff is friendly and helpful, making guests feel special and welcome. Laundry service is efficient and convenient, ensuring that clothes are returned promptly.

One downside is that the hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner, but there are plenty of fabulous restaurants down by the riverside that can be easily reached by tuktuk.

There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, adding convenience to my stay. The breakfast area, situated by a beautiful lotus pond, created a scenic and tranquil setting. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Mahasok provided excellent value for money and I highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely hotel in Luang Prabang. the staff at Villa Mahasok were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help me. I especially loved the little kid who served breakfast, they were so cute! the hotel even invited me to a party they were having at the reception, which was a nice touch. It was great value for money and the location was convenient, close to the city center. the breakfast area next to the pond was peaceful and they made fresh breakfast with fruits. I also booked a tour to the waterfalls through the hotel and it was a smooth and enjoyable experience.
