I recently stayed at Backhome for a few nights with my girlfriend. We were really impressed with the private room and its icy Canadian-like AC. I've stayed at Backhome four times in the past 6 months and it's always my go-to place in KL. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, offering great services like tours and transportation advice. The facilities are top-notch with spacious dorms, comfortable beds, and clean toilets/showers. The breakfast is simple but tasty, and there are plenty of common areas to relax in. Plus, the location is perfect, walking distance to the start line of the KL Marathon. Definitely recommend this hotel!
