I had a wonderful stay at Check In Lodge in Kuching with my 9 year old son. the guesthouse's location is perfect, close to great restaurants, the waterfront, and two free city bus stops. the downstairs kitchen/sitting area was lovely and regularly cleaned. the comfortable bed, friendly staff, and good security added to our enjoyment. Breakfast was simple but appreciated. I would definitely stay here again! the shared bathrooms and common areas were kept clean, and the helpful manager provided valuable information about Kuching's attractions and dining options. the availability of storage for our bags and the security measures were also commendable. the indoor swimming pool and leisure room were great for relaxation. Nearby landmarks like John Gallery Dayak Arts and Kuching Waterfront Bazaar provided unique experiences and opportunities for family bonding. Herbert, the owner, was particularly kind and offered excellent recommendations for our visit. Although the thin towel provided as a blanket might be challenging for some, overall, our stay was enjoyable and hassle-free.

The ramen shop next door was a hidden gem! Wayne was a friendly gem too. Breakfast fueled our adventures.

The street noise was a bit much. the fungus on the wall wasn't a great sight.

the location was perfect, surrounded by great eateries and close to transportation. the young man working there was extremely friendly and accommodating. the hostel was impeccably clean, with cozy rooms and regular cleaning. the owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home. simple yet satisfying breakfast included.
