My stay at Deview Hotel Penang was great. The location was convenient for accessing hawker food and the room was clean and spacious. The hotel also had sufficient parking, although it was not guaranteed. The service was prompt when I requested soap replacement.

One drawback was the odd lighting configuration in the room, which was not strategically angled. Another issue was the glass box bathroom situated in the bedroom, which didn't provide a separate feel.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is surrounded by plenty of hawker stalls, perfect for grabbing a quick and delicious meal. Additionally, it is near to many attractions and even offers easy access to hiking trails to Air Itam dam. Another advantage is its proximity to Air Itam wet market, allowing guests to explore the local culture and cuisine.

The hotel lacks proper lighting at the entrance at night, making it difficult to navigate.

The hotel is located conveniently near key attractions, making it easy to get around the city on foot. the proximity to food outlets also made it easy to grab a quick bite. the hotel is relatively new and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay.

There were a few negatives that detracted from the overall experience. the staff at the reception didn't seem very welcoming and the policies regarding extending the stay were unclear, leaving a bit of a bad taste.
