Our room had a stuffy smell upon arrival, reminiscent of the photos on the website. Unfortunately, room service was requested but never received throughout our stay. Despite this, the beach access and spacious room size were highlights. Overall, I recommend this hotel for its location and value.

During my recent business trip to Penang, my director selected Flamingo Hotel By the Beach, Penang, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere at the property. the proximity to the beach allowed for moments of relaxation and basking in the sun on the unique black sand beach. I indulged in a rejuvenating massage at the on-site salon, which added to my overall experience. taking a refreshing dip in the Flamingo pool was a fantastic way to unwind after a busy day.

Room check-in was a bit challenging as the staff initially provided the wrong room number and then issued a non-functioning room key, leading to a delay of about 45 minutes due to limited elevator access.
