I recently stayed at a hotel in Penang and had a great experience. The location of the hotel was perfect, with close proximity to the piers, main restaurant shopping areas, Little India, Fort, and more. The room was clean and equipped with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The ensuite bathroom was nice as well. Although I had booked a room with a view, I ended up with a wall view instead. Nonetheless, it was still a pleasant stay. The hotel also provided WiFi access for 24 hours, which was convenient. I found it to be a cheap and comfortable option.
