Great location, close to pubs, bars, local food, and bus station to national park. Super friendly staff, gave good tips. Comfortable bed, clean rooms with good water pressure. Good toiletries, Penang and Peranakan culture decoration. Beautiful vintage style, large rooms with lots of storage. Good concierge service. WiFi and laundry professionally handled. Value for money at around €40 per night.

The location in a great area allowed us to easily explore the city and access popular attractions. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, ensuring that all our needs were met. The rooms were well-equipped with all the required amenities and had individual touches that added to the overall comfort. The big comfy bed and ensuite facilities made our stay even more enjoyable. And the breakfast, which included eggs cooked to order and traditional Nyonya dishes, was a delightful start to the day.

Enjoyed my Christmas stay, the decorations were lovely. the room was spacious and cozy with a mini fridge and a safe. the location was prime, with walking distance to many restaurants and street murals. the staff was very cheerful and helpful, always willing to offer advice.

The breakfast was not to my expectations, there was a limited selection of food and teabags. the bathroom space was a bit tight, with the toilet behind the door.

I had a great stay at the Nam Keng Hotel in Penang. The value for money was amazing, with a beautiful vintage interior and spacious rooms. The location was ideal, with easy access to tourist attractions and delicious eateries. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to assist us, even presenting us with a lovely souvenir upon check out.

The breakfast menu could be improved with more variety and replenished items, ensuring there is enough for all guests until 10am. Additionally, a better warmer system for the food would be a welcomed addition.
