Proximity to Jonker St weekend night market and the riverside adds to the charm.

We were impressed by the cleanliness, the well-thought amenities provided such as individual bed curtains for privacy, electrical outlets, and light at every bed, as well as the small locker and hanging space for personal items. the hostel's location was fantastic, just one street away from a popular walking area with plenty of food options nearby. the staff went above and beyond, providing a warm and welcoming vibe that made our stay truly enjoyable.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The unique interior design at Ola instantly made me feel at home. Dark, cozy rooms with cool plants and curtains created a private oasis. the central location next to Jonker Street was perfect for exploring. Having everything I needed like water and toiletries provided really enhanced my stay. Although I wish there were more bathrooms, the cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hostel.

The dining scene near Ola in Malacca is lit, fam! the Kappan House's nasi lemak is straight fire. Jonker 88's cendol is a sweet symphony. the Daily Fix's pancakes are next level. Calanthe Art Cafe's coffee is da real MVP. Bikini Toppings' burgers are lit AF. Hard Rock Cafe's vibes are on point. Kaya Kaya Cafe's kaya toast is legit. Cheng Ho Tea House & Vegetarian Restaurant's food is on fleek.

While the smokers in the common area lit up the ambiance, a clear curtain and fridge for snacks would've taken it to Boss level. Despite this, Ola in Malacca stays winning.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Malacca! the atmosphere is just perfect - simple yet cozy. the common area is always spotless, and the beds are super comfy with fluffy pillows. the showers are a delight, and the location is so convenient, you can stroll to all major attractions easily. the staff here are amazing and helpful - they even upgraded my room without me asking. Plus, they offer bike rentals at a great price.

If I have to suggest one thing, maybe they could add more variety to the breakfast options. But honestly, with all the fantastic cafes around, it's not a big deal at all!
