My recent stay at Hotel Sandakan was fantastic! I was in Sandakan for a few days and the hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the city center and waterfront. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed and soft sheets. I also appreciated the option to store our main luggage at the hotel while we went on a three-day excursion to the river. The hotel's wifi signal was strong in the room, and the security staff at the car park were lovely.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was big and comfortable, exceeding our expectations for the price. The separate bedroom was a pleasant surprise. The beds were super cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel facilities were great, including the well-maintained bathtub and efficient air conditioning. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the city but on a peaceful street with trees. We also appreciated the helpful staff who recommended excellent tourist services. They even stored our luggage while we went on a jungle adventure.

Large, comfortable room on a quiet street. Good location. Good coffee. Okay breakfast with Malay buffet plus eggs and waffles. High floors have sea view, the rest face pleasant trees.

Convenient location near police station and shopping mall. Helpful staff accommodated our request for a room change. Room cleanliness was satisfactory. a comfortable hotel with a nice view.

This hotel is a great value for money option in the city centre. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the main road, police station, and restaurants. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms are well-equipped with complete facilities, individual air conditioning, and a bath. The breakfast, although mainly Chinese style food, includes a variety of options.

Located in the heart of town, this hotel proved to be ideally situated near the shopping complex and many restaurants. My room had a great view of the city and was spacious. the breakfast selection was impressive.

The volume of the music being played on each floor was too high, making it difficult to relax. the lack of freshly-prepared eggs was a bit disappointing.

Delicious lunch buffet with lamb and seafood, and a good breakfast buffet too. Fantastic espresso machine for cappuccino, macchiato, and espresso. Comfortable beds. Easy to locate hotel. Lady manager is very helpful for any issues or special requests
