Stayed at a centrally-located hostel in a vibrant town. Exploring the attractions was a breeze with everything within walking distance. the highlight was definitely the delicious local food. the hostel itself was fantastic, offering cozy and comfortable beds, as well as secure lockers for belongings. the helpful staff made the stay even more enjoyable. the common areas were lovely, especially the swing in the kitchen, and there was even a water refill station available.

We had a fantastic time at The Brownstone Hostel & Space. The retro interior design of the building was captivating and added to the overall charm. Despite being a bit far from the city center, it was still within walking distance. The self-service breakfast was a convenient and enjoyable experience. There were options like toast with jam, cereals, and milk, allowing us to fuel up for the day. The hostel also had amenities like a water dispenser with hot and cold options, which was a pleasant surprise.

One drawback was the noise from the main road, especially during the night with passing motorbikes. Additionally, the bathrooms could use some improvements, like a larger sink and better water control to prevent spills.

Cozy, clean and comfortable. Super friendly staff and helpful suggestions for places to visit. The hostel had a beautiful ambiance with lots of greenery and natural sunlight. It felt like a peaceful oasis in the city.

The outside traffic noise was sometimes loud but manageable. Limited parking options and occasional noise from other guests walking around outside.

I recently had a great stay at Brownstone in Ipoh. The hostel offered a unique and hipster vibe, with a cozy game area and a lovely outdoor chill spot. The staff were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for places to visit. The hostel was clean and comfortable, with a private twin bed room that had a window facing the outdoor yard. I will definitely choose Brownstone again for my next visit.
