This hotel is a gem in the city center of Kota Kinabalu. The location is perfect, right around the shopping complex and within walking distance to the markets and old town area. The staff are generally friendly and the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. The rooms are clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities and a nice view. The breakfast at the top floor restaurant is a highlight with an excellent view of Gaya Island.

The only small downside was the inconvenience of walking up the stairs to the breakfast area, which might be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Great location and clean. I had a smooth check-in and check-out process. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Filipino market and the waterfront. It's also a short Grabcar ride to the Gaya Sunday market and the Imago shopping mall. The breakfast spread was surprisingly good and offered more choices compared to other hotels. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is definitely value for money and I would recommend it to others. I had a pleasant stay at Klagan.

The spacious room and super clean bathroom were definitely a plus. the buffet breakfast had a wide array of delicious food options to choose from. - the hotel's location was the best, with shops, entertainment outlets, and restaurants within walking distance.

The rooms lacked natural light, which made them feel a bit gloomy. The constant drilling and hammering noise from the room next door was disruptive, even at night.

Convenient location near night market, waterfront, and mall. Spacious room with new furniture. Good breakfast with reasonable variety of foods. Stunning views of the waterfront from bedroom and breakfast area. Immaculately tidy room with powerful air conditioning. Fast and consistent WiFi.

The breakfast selection was decent and the location was convenient for my business meetings. the hotel had a good internet connection which was helpful for my work.

My stay was marred by the lack of cleanliness in my room. the bathroom was not properly cleaned and I found hair on the towels.
