Our stay at the hotel was excellent value for our money. The room was clean, tidy, and the bed and sheets were fantastic. The location of the hotel was superb, close to the ferry station, Little India, Chinatown, and the UNESCO Heritage site. We could easily walk to anywhere in the historic area. The staff, especially Malcolm at the front desk, were extremely friendly and provided us with wonderful service throughout our stay.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there was a proper breakfast room with a decent buffet, rather than ordering it separately and receiving it in a plastic bag from a food-court.

The breakfast could be improved, as it is served with instant premix coffee that guests have to make themselves. there is no connecting bridge from the car lot to the main building.

Plus, the parking lot was plentiful, ensuring we had no issues with finding a space.

There were a couple of things that could be improved. the breakfast could have been better, with more variety and options provided.

I recently stayed at Victoria Garden Hotel for a few nights while exploring Penang. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great tips for hiking up Penang Hill. The manager went above and beyond by quickly arranging for a standing fan when my air-con broke down. The hotel's location was perfect, close to delicious street food and Little India, as well as Fort Cornwallis and the Langkawi ferry terminal. The hotel had a calm and quiet atmosphere, with clean and modern rooms that were very comfortable. The breakfast selection was tasty and varied. a relaxing and enjoyable stay worth 4 stars.
