As a budget traveler, I really enjoyed my stay at Yote28. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the Chinatown/Jonker Street area and the UNESCO heritage museums. There were Malay restaurants nearby, including a classy Malay/fusion restaurant where I enjoyed delicious local dishes. The hostel itself was spotlessly clean and the capsule beds were huge and comfortable. I appreciated the privacy curtains and the large metal-mesh luggage lockers in the room. The staff at the front desk were also very helpful and provided great advice on exploring Malacca.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this superb hostel in Malaysia for a few days. The hosts were beyond excellent, very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The movie room was a standout feature, and the location was perfect, being just a few hundred meters from Jonker Street and other attractions. I will definitely choose this hostel again on my next stay.
