We stayed at a historical during Christmas, and we enjoyed the beautiful decoration and great ambience. the location was perfect, close to the harbor and in an intimate neighborhood. the breakfast was satisfying and the attention was warm and caring. We appreciated the fact that we could keep our key after check-out for a little longer and enjoy some of the common areas. the rooftop offered amazing views of the surroundings.

We had a negative experience with the mattress of the bed, which was too soft and uncomfortable for our taste. there were no proper doors in the bathroom or toilet, which lacked privacy and made the stay less enjoyable.

The rooms were massive and comfortable, with all the finer details taken care of. the building itself was stunning, with beautiful architecture and impeccable renovations. the location was great, just a short walk from the main square and the harbor. Plus, the host was amazing - warm, personable, and incredibly helpful with recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed.

It was a bit difficult for our Uber driver to find the hotel, as it was tucked away on a side street. while the breakfast had a great selection, the hot items were a little cold.

I had an outstanding experience at Palazzino Birgu. The building is absolutely stunning and has been impeccably renovated. The location was perfect, just off the main square, and we could easily walk to the attractions or take a gondola over to Valletta. The room exceeded my expectations, with spacious and well-decorated interiors. The breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed meeting interesting guests from all over the world at the large breakfast table. The attention to detail in this B&B is impressive. I highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful architecture, great location, and wonderful experience.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but it didn't significantly affect my stay. Additionally, although I would have loved a jacuzzi and a deck area on the roof, I was informed that these facilities are being worked on for future guests.

It would be beneficial if the B&B had a shaded area on the roof terrace to provide relief from the sun for fair-skinned guests.
