The noise from roosters and dogs in the neighborhood, which could be heard from our room. However, the staff kindly offered us a quieter bungalow which was smaller but perfect for us.

I stayed at Amaranto B&B for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The beds and rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was quiet, allowing for a peaceful sleep. The staff was helpful and the breakfasts were great, offering healthy options. The location was convenient, being only 800mts from the ferry terminal and close to the main shopping area and many good restaurants. Manuela, who handled the breakfasts, did a fantastic job, and it was a bonus for me to practice my Spanish with her. Jorge, the owner, was always available to assist with any problems or language difficulties. The hotel itself was beautifully designed in true Mexican/Spanish colonial style. The rooms were spacious, with amenities like AC, mini-fridge, and a huge, comfy bed. The place was spotless and the linen seemed almost new. I highly recommend Amaranto B&B for a pleasant stay.
