For the price we paid, we got great value and the room was clean and well-equipped. The location was perfect, with a stunning beach just a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful vacation.

I recently stayed at the Barcelo in Ixtapa for a relaxing beach getaway. The location was perfect, right by the beach with easy access from the pool. The pools were fantastic and the activities on site kept me entertained. The staff, aside from the check-in staff, were exceptional. The premium package I had allowed for early check-in and late check-out, along with other perks like a private lounge and excellent drink choices. The food was good, especially the Italian restaurant, and the buffet had a wide variety of options. The beds were comfortable and the beach area was always clean. it was a nice place to stay.

We had a fantastic time at Barcelo in Ixtapa. Our stay was for five days and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The resort is in close proximity to a vibrant vendor market, and the beautiful beach is simply stunning. The grounds of the hotel are well-maintained, and the complimentary parking was a plus. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with special mentions to Ivan, the exceptional concierge, as well as Rosie in the lounge and Jorge at the front desk. The premiere lounge upgrade was definitely worth it, offering enjoyable activities and great service. The restaurants, particularly Don Quijote, provided delicious food with excellent service.

I loved the cleanliness of the resort, from the spotless rooms to the well-kept grounds. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful beachfront location and a variety of amenities. Parking was easy and free, which was convenient for guests with a car. The hotel's location was perfect, right across the street from a great selection of restaurants. It was also close to a charming church called Parroquia de Santa Maria and had easy access to the beach.

Staff was amazing, except concierge. Good food and drinks, with a wide selection. Location on Ixtapa beach was excellent, with comfortable beach beds.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, right by the airport and in a wonderful area for long beach walks or exploring the nearby shops and attractions. The hotel itself was stunning, with beautiful palm trees providing dappled shade on the beach, along with several other hotels in the area. The service was top-notch, with exceptional staff who were attentive and friendly. The manager even went above and beyond to make a reservation for us at a nearby restaurant with a stunning view.
