We were pleasantly surprised by the luxury and attention to detail at this jungle hideaway. The Mayan theme created a unique atmosphere, and the beautiful grounds and pools immersed us in nature. The spacious rooms and comfortable amenities made for a restful stay. The owner's passion for the local culture added a personal touch. we highly recommend this hotel.

Located in gorgeous gardens in the jungle, this hotel is the perfect base for exploring the fantastic ruins nearby. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with beautifully appointed bathrooms. The service is outstanding, with staff who speak English and are always helpful. The breakfast offers a great selection of local and international dishes. The hotel also boasts a lagoon-like pool surrounded by lush greenery, creating a stunning and peaceful atmosphere.

The WiFi in the rooms can be quite unreliable.

Spent an amazing time this Xmas at a hotel surrounded by lush greenery. the serene atmosphere of the place was breathtaking and the service left nothing to be desired. the staff offered complimentary mosquito repellent to guests to use around the pool area to ensure we stayed bite-free. the location was absolutely perfect, near to the ruins and other attractions. the best aspect was the delicious food served and the delightful complimentary soft drinks that were replenished daily in our room.

Although the tropical surroundings were stunning, it did mean that there were a few biting ants that were pretty irritating. It would be nice if there was a lounge or bar area with a bit of ambiance for a more social atmosphere in the evenings.

Exotic gardens with lakes and birdlife create a peaceful atmosphere. Fabulous food with a variety of local and international dishes. Spacious rooms with seating areas, and the sounds of the tropical forest at night. Beautiful swimming pools in a natural jungle setting. Attentive owner and staff.

Luxury at its finest! My stay at the hotel was pure bliss. The lush gardens and the exotic birdlife were just eye-catching. The pools were surrounded by greenery that was beautiful and well-planned. The room was spacious with comfortable seating areas inside and out. The shower was big and had high water pressure. The staff paid great attention to details; the handmade soap was lovely and the hairdryer was handy. The food was delicious with an excellent selection of local and international dishes, and the special diets menu was impressive. The service and the owner's team were outstanding.

Though the overall experience was beyond amazing, the air-conditioner was a bit noisy on high mode.
