I had a wonderful stay at Casa Abanico. The hosts were welcoming and pleasant, and the room was nicely decorated with air conditioning and mosquito nets over the beds. The big kitchen, exclusively for guests, was well-equipped and even had guides, maps. I especially loved that I could borrow bikes from the owner to explore Tulum and go to the beach. The location was great, with attractions and restaurants just a short walk or bike ride away. The garden and upper deck/kitchen area offered a lovely view and added to the overall peacefulness of the place. The owners were also very helpful, providing advice and information to enhance my stay. I had a fantastic experience at Casa Abanico and would highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Abanico. The room was spacious with plenty of storage, and I loved the nice little living room area. The shower was great, and the garden was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen area with the terrace was lovely, even though I didn't use it much. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They even helped me carry my heavy bag up the stairs with a smile. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The value for money at Casa Abanico was excellent, and the room was clean and nice. The location was convenient, with the ADO terminal within walking distance or a short taxi ride away. The staff, especially Aurora, were incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

loved our stay at this hidden gem. staff were friendly and helpful, providing great local recommendations. the kitchen was a bonus and the room had everything we needed. the peaceful atmosphere made for a perfect getaway.

Wifi connection was inconsistent.

Lovely, peaceful oasis away from the tourist hordes. the room was clean and comfortable with great amenities like bedside reading lamps and a hairdryer. the gardens and kitchen/terrace were beautiful. the best seafood restaurant in town was just a short walk away. I also appreciated having access to drinking water, so I could refill my water bottle and reduce plastic waste.

There was some street noise during the day, but it quieted down at night. the location was a bit of a walk from the main drag, but this allowed for discovering new things along the way.

The cleanliness was impeccable, with the room being well equipped and super clean. The hotel facilities, such as the common areas and reading lamps, were welcoming and convenient. The location was great, just out of the centre of town but still close to restaurants and services. The hotel also provided free bicycles, making it easy to explore the local community area and the nearby sports complex. The staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Abanico! The property is in an ideal location, right next to a beautiful park where you can enjoy various sports and activities. The hosts, Matthieu, Aurora, and their son Diego. The whole facility is well-maintained, with a stunning garden and a lovely balcony that has a public kitchen and dining area. The room itself was comfortable and beautifully designed. We also appreciated the free bike hire, which allowed us to explore the town and even cycle to the beach. The staff, including the hilarious cleaners Leo and Rodrigues, were always helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Thank you all for an awesome experience!

We loved the charming small garden filled with beautiful birds, including a hummingbird. The location was great, just a short stroll away from highly recommended restaurants and a convenient shop for breakfast and lunch supplies. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and their adorable lab/retriever puppy was a delightful addition to our stay. Casa Abanico offered excellent value and we wished we could have stayed longer.

I recently stayed at Casa Abanico in Tulum and it was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were brilliant and even allowed us to use their free bikes before we checked in. The room was spacious, clean, and had excellent air conditioning. They also provided communal fridge and cooking facilities, which was a great convenience. The location was slightly outside of the town, making it quieter than other places in the area. The property had a lovely garden and the whole place felt freshly painted. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for things to do, see, and eat in Tulum. The hotel also offers free bikes, which was a great way to explore the area. my stay at Casa Abanico was unforgettable.
