the swings and hammocks in the water were a highlight, perfect for relaxing and capturing some stunning shots. the luxurious option we chose had a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a mini fridge, which all worked perfectly. the entire complex was well-maintained and tidy. We also enjoyed the average but reasonably priced restaurant, where we had a refreshing beer, juice, and some delicious nachos. the staff were exceptional, accommodating my last-minute decision to extend my stay and ensuring I felt comfortable throughout. I highly recommend this place for its charm and stunning views.

I got a great value for my money at this off the beaten track campsite. The tent was spacious and comfortable, and the beautiful location by the lagoon provided stunning views of the sunrise and sunset. The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering a free shuttle to town.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, as it only consisted of coffee.

The clear and clean lagoon water was perfect for swimming, and I enjoyed listening to the various bird sounds from the surrounding area. At night, the clear sky allowed for stargazing and the peaceful sounds of the nearby jungle. The owner was exceptionally friendly and provided a free shuttle service twice a day, making it easy to explore nearby attractions.

As a traveler passing through Xpujil to Tulum, we stayed at Ecocamping Yaxche for one night. This quiet place offers a small private beach and is just a 10-minute drive from Bacalar center. The staff was kind and attentive, organizing a wonderful tour of the cenotes. The campground was clean and well-maintained, with ample showers and toilets. The highlight was the direct access to the beautiful Bacalar lagoon, complete with swings and hammocks in the water. We opted for the luxurious option, which included a private bathroom and working air conditioning.

Plus, the cheap beer at the bar was a pleasant surprise. the potential of this place is evident, although it could benefit from better maintenance. the location itself was simply amazing, with the beautiful lake and peaceful surroundings. the swings, hammocks, and sunbeds on the lake shore added an extra touch of relaxation to our stay. Another standout was the free coffee in the morning, and we found the food and beer reasonably priced and delicious. the complimentary shuttle into town in the morning and back in the afternoon was a thoughtful bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at the camping near Xpujil to Tulum. While there was no kitchen, we enjoyed cooking over a fire and savored the delicious food from the on-site restaurant. the location in nature was perfect for relaxation, and we even had the option to rent kayaks and SUPs, although it was a bit pricier compared to Bacalar center.
