I recently stayed at Casa Lara - Habitacion Cerca Del Mar - Homestay for a few days during my vacation in Mexico. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, even recommending a delicious pizza place nearby. The breakfast provided was plentiful and of great quality. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and the shared bathroom was clean. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the beach and the boats to Isla Mujeres. it was a great experience and a nice treat compared to the budget hostels I usually stay in.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Lara - Habitacion Cerca Del Mar - Homestay. the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, and the omelette we had was the best we've ever tasted. the rooms were spacious with plenty of storage space, and the bed was enormous and very comfortable. There were plenty of seating areas to relax in, and we especially enjoyed spending time at the rooftop pool. the house is located in a secure estate, and we were issued wristbands for added security. It's about a 30-minute walk to the hidden treasure of Puerto Juarez beach, where we found a great restaurant.

The room was spacious with a huge bed and a nice bathroom. the breakfast was amazing, with the best omelette I've ever tasted. the location was great, just a short walk away from a beautiful beach and some great restaurants and bars.

The shared bathroom and living areas didn't have air conditioning, which was a bit uncomfortable.

casa lara was a dreamy haven for my birthday celebration in cancun. it exceeded my expectations with its peaceful location near the beach and the beautiful terrace with a pool. arturo, the host, was incredibly kind and made us feel at home. highly recommend for a relaxed stay.

I had an amazing stay at this homestay. The cleanliness of the place was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were modern and stylish. Parking was convenient, and transportation to the city center was easily accessible. The location was excellent, as it was close to the beach and just a short walk away from the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

We spent a lovely week at a homestay near the sea. the room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom. It was impeccably clean and we even had our own cozy balcony. the highlight was our helpful and accommodating host, A. He was always available to answer our questions and provided great tips for exploring the area. Another plus was the cute terrace on the roof with a hammock and pool. And the breakfast was absolutely unique and a must-try. Although the location was a bit far from the supermarket, it was close to the navy and a beach. it was a fantastic week and we are grateful for the experience.

Arturo was a fantastic host, providing us with helpful advice on traveling and sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean, cosy, and had a TV with Netflix. The shared bathroom was always clean and we felt safe in the gated community. The house is conveniently located near a local beach and seafood restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Casa Lara was great value for the price! The room was spacious and the bed was enormous. The location in the Puerto Juarez neighborhood was perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay, away from the touristy parts of the city. The nearby Playa Blanca beach was just a 2-minute walk away and not crowded at all. The breakfast prepared by Arturo was delicious and different every morning, and we loved having it on the terrace. Arturo and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel at home during our entire stay. The rooftop terrace was a great spot to unwind, and although we didn't use the pool, knowing it was there was a nice bonus. Getting around the city was easy with the Colectivos, and Arturo was always there to provide guidance and recommendations. we highly recommend staying at Casa Lara for a relaxed and welcoming homestay experience in Cancun.
