Lovely place to stay, had a big room with kitchen area that had a coffee machine, had Netflix on the TV which is great and the aircon worked perfectly. We were given loads of information about what to do around including snorkeling with turtles which was the main reason we went. Cheap rental of snorkel equipment with brand new mouthpieces which is nice. Only a 15-minute walk to the beach, and close to taxis and colectivos if you need to go further.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us. The room was spacious and comfortable with a big TV that had Netflix. The shower had good water pressure and there was hot water. The hotel also had a kitchen with a fridge that we could use. The location was great, really close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Noisy room due to thin walls.

I had a great stay at this guesthouse in a local neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the host spoke good English. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach, lagoon, and bars by foot or bike. The town itself is charming, with lots of street art and local taco restaurants serving delicious food at reasonable prices. The room was spacious, with a big TV with Netflix, a comfortable bed and pillow, and a good shower with hot water. The wifi worked well, and I appreciated having access to the kitchen and fridge. There was also a coffee machine and water tank in the room, which was a nice touch.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, and filled with sunlight. We loved waking up to breathtaking sunrises and enjoying the view from our balcony. The room also had a coffee maker, which was a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was well organized and perfect for cooking meals. Plus, there was a market nearby where we could find fresh vegetables. we had a great time at Hostal El Padrino.

I had a wonderful stay at a hostel in Akumal. The neighborhood had an authentic vibe, and the walk to the beach took just 15 minutes. The locals were friendly, and the owner of the hostel, along with his sister and daughter, were very helpful and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The hostel itself was exceptionally clean, and my room felt more like an apartment with a fridge, coffee maker, and all the necessary amenities. It was a great place to experience local Mexican life and culture.

Room on top floor was spacious, clean, and bright. Balcony provided great views of sunrises and sunsets. Coffee maker with supplied coffee and sugar was a nice touch. Kitchen was well-organized, and nearby market had fresh veggies. had a lovely time.

For us, it was ideal.

Great staff who were very helpful and friendly. the room was spacious and had a nice cross breeze. the air conditioner worked well and was quiet. the location was on a quiet street but just a short walk to restaurants and a grocery store. I also enjoyed the unlimited hot water from the on-demand heater.

The WiFi was somewhat erratic and would drop the connection occasionally. There were dogs barking nearby, which could be bothersome.

The location of the hostel is ideal, as it is close to a dive shop and within walking distance of the beach. The beds and pillows are surprisingly comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The private room comes with a spacious bathroom, a king-size bed, and convenient amenities such as a sink, coffee maker, and small fridge.

The kitchen was under renovation during our stay, but we were still able to use the newer gas stove and sitting areas.

Great location, kind and friendly staff, exceptionally clean, good facilities, beautiful beach.
