I gotta say, the value for money at Candelaria was impressive! The room was comfy and the location was perfect, close to the bus station and city center but still quiet. And can we talk about the staff? They were so friendly and helpful, made me feel right at home.

A great hostel to meet people, have good rest, and just chill. The best breakfast with something different every day. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes to the main square on a lovely, peaceful plaza. Great value for money too! Oh, and you can rent bikes for your cenotes trip too!

This hostel was a great spot to meet other travelers and explore the nearby attractions. the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station and the cheap shuttles. the hostel had a beautiful garden and a unique layout that made it fun to explore. One of the best things about this place was the breakfast. They had a delicious spread with good coffee, fresh fruit, cereal, and eggs made to order. It was a great way to start the day before heading to Chichinitza or the cenotes.

The dormitory rooms with A/C were a bit old-fashioned and cramped. the rooms without A/C on the second floor got very hot at night, even with the fans.

Everything was impeccably clean, from the rooms to the bathrooms and showers. The best part was the breakfast - each morning, we were served a delicious custom-made breakfast sandwich, along with a variety of other options. The map they provided was also very useful, making it easy for us to explore the area. Candelaria is a well-located, well-run hostel that exceeded our expectations in every way.
