The price of the hotel was quite reasonable - given the fact that it was peak season around Christmas - so it was attractive in that regard. the parking facility was convenient, which is great when you're carrying luggage. the proximity to the northern area of the city was also a plus.

The location itself wasn't great; the surrounding area felt a bit unsafe and wasn't very appealing.
