I recently spent a month at Maria's Nicte Ha and it was a wonderful experience. The staff, including Brenda, Ruth, Marianna, and Pedro, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The spacious and comfortable rooms had a well-supplied kitchen and attractive Mexican decor. The location was perfect, just one block from the beach malecon and a short distance from the main street. The hotel had a beautiful pool, secure property, and a safe in the room. it was the best place I could have found in Progreso. Muchas gracias to all the staff!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff, including Brenda, Ruth, Marianna, and Pedro, were excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and fluent in English, which made communication easy for us. The facilities were spacious and comfortable, and we especially loved our street-front second floor room with a balcony. The well-supplied kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove with oven, coffee-maker, toaster, microwave, and blender was a great convenience. The hotel had a powerful AC and ceiling fan, making our stay even more comfortable. The attractive and well-kept grounds, along with the pool, added to the overall pleasant experience. The hotel's secure property and in-room safe gave us peace of mind. The location was also perfect - just one block from a quiet beach and within easy walking distance to the downtown area. It was close to everything we needed, yet far enough away from the main areas to enjoy a peaceful stay.

As friends who enjoy going out at night, we loved the great access to the malecón by bike and the beautiful pool area with plenty of lounge chairs. The upper deck with tables and a hammock was a nice touch.

I absolutely loved my stay at this adorable hotel! The attention to detail in the colorful decor and beautiful tiles was fantastic. The pool and upper patio were perfect for relaxing, and the front desk staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Plus, being able to buy a large jug of purified water for a great price was a nice bonus.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if they had offered a wider variety of breakfast options.

One minor inconvenience we experienced was the barking dogs across the street, but this is a common issue in Mexico and beyond the hotel's control. Additionally, while the mattress on one side of the bed was good, the other side could use improvement.

The staff were excellent and very friendly. They were always there to help and some of them even spoke English, which was a huge advantage. The facilities were also very spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen with all the appliances I needed. Plus, the location was perfect - just a block away from the beach and not too far from the main street.

There were a couple of things that weren't so great. First, the water pressure was quite low and it took a long time for the hot water to start flowing.
