The location of the hotel was great as it was close to Punta Esmeralda beach, which was the best in PDC. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and there was a rooftop pool for late evening swims.

The service was lacking and the breakfast options were limited.

We appreciated the complimentary breakfast and parking. the location was a little out of the way, but there was public transportation nearby. We also enjoyed the use of the two nearby beaches.

There were a number of negative aspects as well. the hotel was quite noisy, both inside and out.

This hotel is a great affordable place to stay! The rooms are comfortable with big balconies, perfect for enjoying the warm weather. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcomed throughout your stay. The location is convenient, near a beautiful beach and just a short walk away from the town center.

My stay at Punta Esmeralda was a mixed experience. On one hand, the night staff provided excellent customer service and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The location, although not central to tourist attractions, had a gritty and authentic vibe where the locals lived. I found the people in the neighborhood to be friendly and nice.

There was major construction going on at the property during my stay, and this was not communicated to me by the hotel staff. The noise from the construction was so disruptive that I had to leave a day earlier than planned.

I recently stayed at Punta Esmeralda for a family vacation. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially with our baby and providing fresh cooked veggies. They were always available to answer any questions. The hotel had great facilities and offered free transportation to the center. The nearby beaches were less crowded and better than the ones in the center. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the neighborhood gave us a local experience.

The location was convenient, just a short drive from popular attractions like 5th Avenue and Xcaret. Despite being in a seemingly sketchy neighborhood, we felt safe during our stay.
