We had an amazing time in Rio Lagartos! The location of the hotel was fantastic, with breathtaking views of the water from our suite. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They helped us book a morning boat trip to see the surrounding areas, including flamingoes, crocodiles, and various bird species. Our boat driver/tour guide was exceptional! The restaurant in the lobby served delicious food, and breakfast had a wide range of options. The rooftop terrace was a great spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink. a fantastic experience!

Lovely hotel, good location and amazing pool. The tour to see the flamingos was brilliant. Many species of birds and we got really close to a crocodile. Our guide Jorge was great!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Rio Lagartos. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The restaurant served delicious and authentic dishes, with special praise for Maestro David's excellent food. Our room was clean and offered a stunning view of the lagoon. We also enjoyed a fun and relaxing boat tour with our guide Edgar, where we got to see Flamingos, Crocodiles and Eagles. For visiting the pink lake, we recommend going by car for more flexibility in exploring and capturing the best pictures.

The rooms are well-maintained and spacious, with a balcony offering a charming sea view. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooftop terrace provides a perfect spot to enjoy a complimentary drink while watching the sunset.

There is no elevator available for guests with disabilities, which could be a challenge for some.

During our stay at Hotel Rio Lagartos, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the sunset from the rooftop. It was absolutely mesmerizing to watch the vibrant colors paint the sky as the sun dipped below the horizon. We felt so lucky to have this incredible vantage point to witness such a natural beauty.

One minor drawback was the occasional bad smell in the bathroom in the morning. However, we quickly learned that it was coming from outside, from the nearby fishing boats.
