Everything was spot on.

top floor pool area was very cool with great views of the coast. the restaurant and sitting areas were nice and the room itself had a modern look. the hotel is close to the beach and has a good location on the edge of the main street. It offers great value for money with large, comfortable rooms and a clean bed. the rooftop terrace with a pool and good food adds to the overall experience. the hotel is also clean and the staff speaks good English. Highly recommended!

our recent stay in playa del carmen was even better than our previous one! hotel 52 exceeded our expectations with their spacious room, comfortable bed, and helpful staff. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the center and away from the noise. we couldn't have asked for a better romantic trip.

The location of 52 was fantastic, just a short walk away from the bustling 5th Avenue. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist with transportation and provide valuable advice. The rooms were clean and functional, offering a comfortable stay. I particularly loved the rooftop sunset bar, where I enjoyed stunning views of the city and the sea. The swimming pool was a great spot to relax, and the kitchen staff were superb. I had a wonderful stay at 52 and would highly recommend it to others.

I recently stayed at Hotel 52 for a short vacation. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious à la carte breakfast and the convenient location near downtown but still quiet. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk to the beach, and it even includes access to a private beach club with beds and parasols. The coffee at the café was great, and the service was amazing. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and the rooftop pool offered a stunning view of Playa. I highly recommend staying at this stylish and relaxing hotel.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the amazing service provided by the staff. They were always friendly, attentive, and eager to help with any questions or requests I had. Additionally, the coffee at the cafe was absolutely fantastic, perfect for starting my mornings off right. Another great aspect was the access to a private beach club, which included beds and parasols already paid for. It was such a luxury to be able to relax in style while enjoying the beautiful beach.

There were a couple of negatives that affected my experience. the location was a bit further away from the main area and there was a lot of building work happening nearby, which was a bit of a nuisance.

The rooftop terrace boasts a nice pool and stunning beach views. The staff is accommodating and offers luggage storage services. The neighborhood is calm and relaxed, but still within walking distance of trendy restaurants and attractions. Beach access is nearby, despite occasional seaweed. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a minimalist design.

We loved the cool concrete design and the rooftop area, especially the pool. The staff helped us plan our day trips and Eduardo at the front desk was perfecto! we highly recommend 52 for a chic and relaxing stay.

Convenient location - walking distance to main attractions, including the bustling strip nearby. the pool was enjoyable and offered a refreshing escape from the heat. Friendly and helpful staff provided assistance with planning excursions and arranging transportation.

Rooms could use some improvement - they felt small and cramped, with uncomfortable pillows. the showers were dimly lit and the sinks being outside the bathroom was inconvenient.

We enjoyed the rooftop café and pool, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal, situated in a nice and quiet area away from the main tourist strip. we had a great experience at Hotel 52 and would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay here! The hotel is located directly in the center but also in a quiet area, so you can enjoy both. The staff was incredibly helpful, offering car hire services and airport shuttle. We could also book tours and tickets with their assistance. We loved the comfortable room amenities such as air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities. The terrace and garden furniture were a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.

Special mention to Janine at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and friendly from day one. She was proactive, always smiling, and effectively bilingual. The location was great, the staff was helpful, and the ability to store our baggage after checkout was a huge convenience. The rooms were well-designed, spacious, and the rooftop terrace with the pool was a highlight. The beds were comfortable, the shower had good pressure and hot water, and the hotel had a calm atmosphere. the hotel truly impressed me with its attention to detail and the exceptional people on their team.
