Beautiful surroundings to explore, with free MTBs available for guests. Comfy and clean rooms, some with stunning views of the surroundings. Restaurant offers creative takes on Yucatan classics, such as the 'venado al pibil'.

We stayed at a lovely bed & breakfast in Uxmal, which provided a great experience. The staff at La Casa Del Mago were very helpful and friendly, and the food served was excellent. The location was amazing, right next to the ruins of Uxmal, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The surrounding area was clean and well-maintained, with limited vendors. We also enjoyed the Chocolate Museum Tour, which was informative and included an animal sanctuary.

Terrific Service and Ideal Location

During our recent stay at a charming B&B near the Uxmal ruins, we experienced exceptional service from a knowledgeable staff member. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even offering to fetch us drinks from the main hotel bar after our tiring day exploring the ruins. The historical charm of the house, originally built for archaeologists, added a unique touch to our stay. Situated just a brief 5-minute walk from the ruins, it was perfect for early morning visits or attending the evening light show. Additionally, the bus stop right outside made transportation a breeze. Although the occasional noise from the highway and a somewhat uncomfortable bed were minor drawbacks, these were overshadowed by the incredible location and warm hospitality. We would definitely recommend eating elsewhere besides the lodge's restaurant for a better culinary experience. we highly recommend this lovely B&B for its great service and ideal location near the Uxmal ruins.

We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the neighboring Hacienda Uxmal Hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the ruins of Uxmal. The hotel itself was calm and peaceful, offering a great starting point for exploring the ruins early in the morning. The pool was a refreshing retreat, and the restaurant served outstanding breakfast with a variety of delicious options. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for visiting the historical sites, just a short walk away. The hotel is like a mini museum, with interesting artifacts and photos displaying the history of the place. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. It was clear that they take pride in their work and the hotel.- Excellent amenities provided, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The continental breakfast could be improved, as it consisted of coffee/tea, a fruit plate, sweet cakes, and a bit of toast. It may not be enough for those planning on a long day of sightseeing.

The pool area with ancient columns and tall palm trees created a beautiful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast on the patio was superb. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. One of the highlights was the location, just a short walk away from the incredible Uxmal ruins. Our stay at La Casa Del Mago was truly magical. The beautiful pools provided a refreshing escape, and the peaceful atmosphere at night made for a relaxing stay. Plus, the convenient location right across from the Uxmal archaeological site saved us on parking fees and allowed us to explore the ruins easily. I highly recommend this charming bed and breakfast.

The included breakfast was delicious with fresh bread, coffee, juice, preserves, fruit, and customizable eggs. The grounds and pool were beautiful, surrounded by orchards and fields. Conveniently located near the Uxmal ruins, allowing for an early visit before the crowds arrived. Plenty of options for exploring the area and enjoying the facilities.
