I had a great value for my money at Hotel Margaritas in Mazatlan. The room was comfortable and the staff treated me well. The location was ideal, with a quiet setting just off the main street and a short walk to the beach.

The breakfast offerings could have been better. It was advertised as an “American Buffet,” but it turned out to be a Mexican plate with refried beans, scrambled eggs, and chips with salsa.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, close to the beach and with easy access to great restaurants and shops. The rooms are cool and provide relief from the heat. The whole hotel is very clean and the maids are friendly and efficient. The pool, although small, is well-kept and there are other pools available across the street. The hotel is also recommended for hosting larger groups or wedding parties.
