The hotel's location is another bonus as you are right in the middle of the golden zone, and if you want the standard Mazatlán picture op just turn right out the front of the hotel and within 5 minutes you'll be at the start of the Malecon. Exploring the town is perfect, right in the Golden Zone. The hotel offers incredible amenities, making sure you have anything you could possibly want. The rooms are well-appointed, with basic amenities like a coffee maker and a room safe.

The only improvement I would suggest is that the hotel could work on the smell in some areas, as it can be a bit unpleasant.

The hotel's location is priceless, situated right by town where you can easily find mini stores and other amenities. The colorful and well-groomed Islands in front of the hotel added to the attraction. The various swimming pools spread out across the property created a spacious and uncrowded ambiance. The staff's attentive service went above and beyond to fulfill all our desires.

All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.

We had a blast at Hotel Playa! The beach was fantastic with soft sand and just the right amount of waves for some fun. They offered water sports and tours which kept us entertained. The gardens were beautiful, and the updated rooms were comfortable. The half-enclosed patio restaurant had live music and dancing every evening, creating a romantic atmosphere. We also enjoyed the bridge club and the nice pools. it was a great experience, especially as low-budget travelers.

We recently stayed at a delightful hotel in a great location on the Sea of Cortez. The setting was stunning, with beautiful sunsets over Isla Venados. The beach was perfect for all ages and we enjoyed long walks along the shore. The hotel had everything we needed, including fantastic restaurants both in the hotel and nearby in town. Our housekeeper was so lovely and the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The facilities were kid-friendly, which our grandchildren loved. We really enjoyed the authentic Mexican atmosphere of Hotel Playa.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a beachfront hotel in an absolutely stunning location. The property was well-maintained and the grounds were beautiful. I especially loved the attention to detail and the outstanding service provided by the staff. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a great view of the surrounding area. The bathroom was large and spotless. Plus, the fact that breakfast was included made it even better. It's definitely a great value for money!

All in all, my experience at this hotel was absolutely fabulous. It's hard to find any flaws, as everything exceeded my expectations.

There was nothing I didn't like.

As youngsters, we loved the beach, pool, and water sports. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas, and the location was great. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

I recently stayed at a resort in a prime location, walking distance from stores, restaurants, and bars. The beautiful beach with white sand and multiple pools made for a perfect getaway. The staff was friendly, and the property was clean and lovely. The two a la carte restaurants on the premises offered delicious food. I enjoyed my stay at this fabulous resort. Although there were some noise issues and the buffet food was uninspired, I hope these issues can be addressed because this resort has great potential.
