Additionally, the hand towel in my room was not changed during my 4-night stay, and the floor wasn't cleaned thoroughly, which led to some discomfort when walking barefoot. The hotel is also a little far from some attractions and public transportation, but this ended up being a positive as it encouraged me to explore and walk around more.

We loved our stay at Soy Local Cdmx! The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. The staff at the reception were friendly and available 24/7. We were able to leave our bags before check-in, which was very convenient. Our room was spacious with great facilities including a large smart TV. The highlight was when we requested a room change and got upgraded to a huge, quiet bedroom. It felt like home and we had a comfortable stay. The hot shower was excellent, and the neighborhood felt safe. With the metro station just 400 meters away, we could easily explore the tourist attractions of the city, including the Zocalo. a memorable experience!
