The historic building and architecture of this hotel were truly impressive, with beautiful traditional adobe construction. The owners have done a great job in restoring and preserving the authenticity of the property. The location was also a highlight, situated in a stunning setting surrounded by mudbrick buildings and overlooking a palmery with desert mountains in the background. the food served at this hotel was fantastic, with tasty and generous portions that left me satisfied.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms made it unbearable to sleep during my stay, especially considering the high summer temperatures in the region. It would have been great if the rooms had some form of cooling system in place.

Secondly, the location at the edge of a traditional village offered a unique and immersive experience. Strolling through the lovely palm grove across the street was a delightful way to explore the surroundings. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. Lastly, the rooms had a beautiful view of the oasis with the palms, providing a tranquil and picturesque backdrop. Waking up to such a serene sight was truly incredible.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. the traditional decoration and the serene environment added to the cozy feeling. the food served in this hotel was delicious and the value was great. the hotel also had a pool where we could swim and relax.

The hotel did not accept card payment and communicating with the staff was slightly difficult as they did not speak English very well.
