The location of the hotel is perfect, just outside the Medina walls and so close to everything. It may be down a maze of streets, but it adds to the charm and authenticity of the experience. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with intricate mosaic borders. The bathrooms are lovely and well-maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The breakfast is delicious and served in a beautiful courtyard with fountains. The hotel also offers guided tours of the city, providing a fantastic opportunity to explore and learn about the history and culture.

The water in the showers may not always be hot, which could be a slight inconvenience for some guests.

I had the most incredible dining experience at Riad Mazar. The dinner we pre-ordered was a true Moroccan fine dining experience and hands down the best tagine dinner we had during our entire trip. The in-house chef truly knows how to create gastronomic masterpieces. The attention to detail in the decor and ambiance of the riad was breathtaking. The tiles, fabrics, and utensils were all carefully chosen to create a truly Moroccan atmosphere. The location was perfect, quiet yet convenient with vehicles able to stop right at the door and just a short walk to the famous blue gate. The hospitality and service provided by the staff, especially Siham and Murni, made us feel like royalty. Siham went above and beyond to assist us with transportation and tour arrangements, and Murni was always there attending to our needs and serving delicious breakfasts and dinners. The Riad even organized an interesting and fun medina day tour for us. I recommend this Riad for its superb dining, beautiful decor, and outstanding service.
