Sunrise Sahara Camp Hotel Reviews
The decor of the luxury tent at Sunrise Sahara Camp was simply stunning. It had beautiful traditional Moroccan furnishings, with colorful rugs and cushions that added a touch of warmth and comfort. The general areas of the camp were also well-decorated, with cozy seating areas and lovely lanterns that created a peaceful atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the camp was for me. The pathways were well-maintained and easy to navigate, and the staff were always there to assist me when needed. It made me feel safe and supported throughout my stay.
If I could ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, it would be more handrails or supports around the camp. While the staff were always helpful and attentive, having additional support in certain areas would have made it even easier for us seniors to move around independently.
The camp offers a unique and adventurous experience, with a thrilling ride to the camp on camels, allowing guests to witness a beautiful sunset. The hosts are welcoming and kind, offering delicious tea and pastries. The intimate camp has cozy and spacious rooms, with some even featuring a terrace for sleeping under the stars. The dinner served outside on the sand under the stars is described as amazing and tasty. the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, with prompt communication before arrival and complimentary room upgrades.
Only stayed on the outskirts of the dunes, rather than inside them, which meant the dromedary trek and 4x4 excursion were not as fulfilling as expected.
The camp was beautifully decorated, both inside and outside, making it a perfect spot for Instagram-worthy photos. The sunrise and sunset viewpoints offered stunning views of the surroundings, including the dunes. We were able to capture amazing moments that we will never forget. The nights were incredibly romantic, with clear skies that allowed us to see the milky way while lying in our private outdoor tent. The traditional Berber music by the bonfire added to the authentic Saharan experience. The food was simply outstanding, and the hosting family went the extra mile by customizing each guest's menu. We felt extremely welcome and appreciated during our entire stay.
That the camp became quite hot during the day, which limited the time we could spend inside our tents. It would have been helpful if there were windows that we could open to cool down the tents.
Our stay at Sunrise Sahara Camp was an unforgettable experience. The camel ride through the dunes was absolutely amazing. The leader was friendly and helped us capture beautiful pictures. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip.
Although the room was a bit shabby, we appreciated the effort put into decorating the domes. It gave the camp a modern and unique touch.
As young families, we loved the magical camel ride through the Sahara desert dunes and the breathtaking sunset views. The camp's immaculate tents were much larger than expected, providing ample space for our family. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The exquisite breakfast and delicious dinner under the stars were memorable highlights of our stay.
Felt so much at home, no complaints at all.
I had an amazing experience at this camp in the middle of the desert. the small camp size created an intimate and personal atmosphere. the staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. the tent itself was very comfortable with amenities like heat and hot water. the meals were plentiful and delicious, and I especially enjoyed the Moroccan cuisine. Watching the sunrise over the sand dunes from the comfort of my bed was a surreal experience. I also loved the fact that this camp is a Moroccan establishment.
Nothing at all!
I had an amazing stay at a cozy and intimate camp in the Sahara. The room was brand-new and spacious, with a nice terrace where I could sleep outside under the stars. The dinner served under the sand was truly a magical experience with delicious cuisine. The staff, Mohammed, Mubarak, and Ibrahim, were exceptional in their hospitality and went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. Additionally, the camel ride led by the camp leader was fantastic, and he even helped me capture unforgettable pictures.
Although the camp was well-organized, I wish the tents had air conditioning, as it got incredibly hot during the day and night. The lack of AC made it difficult to relax and fully enjoy the beautiful structures of the camp.
I had the most incredible stay at this camp! It truly felt like a luxurious and unique experience. The food was absolutely amazing, the best I had during my entire trip in Morocco. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time. They even helped me book different excursions, like the 4x4 tour and the 4-wheeler excursion, both of which were so cool and provided stunning views of the surroundings. The camp itself was very well organized, from the camel ride arrival to the spacious and clean tent. The breakfast was also rich and tasty. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation, location, breakfast, and staff were all top-notch.
Nothing, all was good.
During our stay at Sunrise Sahara Camp, we were delighted by the exceptional customer service and the wonderful experience it provided. The rooms were of excellent quality, offering comfort and a peaceful atmosphere. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and thoroughly enjoyed the camel ride experience. The dinner served was delicious, although we would recommend the addition of chicken skewers to enhance the dining options.
The value for the money was excellent and the room exceeded our expectations. The location was stunning, situated in the heart of the desert. The staff treated us like royalty, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if they had a wider variety of breakfast options.
We had an amazing stay at this camp. The camel ride at sunset was breathtaking and the camp had luxurious tents and a cozy outdoor bed for stargazing. The staff, especially Khaled and Mohmed, were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The food was delicious and the overall facility was clean. Highly recommend for a great experience.
Felt very welcome, no complaints at all.
A stunning oasis in the middle of the desert, with delicious African cuisine and a helpful tour desk. The private tent was impressive, with its own entrance and dining area.
Who needs air conditioning in the desert? Sweating buckets made the experience even more memorable!
Embrace the Sahara at its best! the magical camp at Sunrise Sahara exceeded our expectations. the camp itself was nothing short of amazing. Our tents provided a perfect view of the sunrise, which made our experience complete. We enjoyed the good company, delicious food, lively music, and fun campfire nights with the team. Staying an extra night allowed us to fully embrace and enjoy our time at the camp. We even made some new friends among the staff who shared hilarious jokes and anecdotes, like the cat who playfully bumped into a lightpoll. Truly an unforgettable experience!
Nothing, no complaints at all! 😊
The glamping experience at this camp is truly wonderful and perfect for those who don't enjoy traditional camping. The location of the camp is stunning, providing a beautiful view of the desert. The staff is extremely hospitable and ensures your comfort throughout your stay. The main tent where dinner is served is romantic, and the food is delicious, with options like a vegetable dish, meat, and fresh fruit for dessert. the activities offered at the camp, such as camel rides and buggy rides, add to the overall experience.
There was a lack of flexibility in terms of transportation. After an ATV tour, guests were taken to a hotel and were unable to return to the camp until their camel ride later in the evening.
