I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, within walking distance to major attractions. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, thanks to the very friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities I expected. The breakfast served on the lovely rooftop patio had a wide variety of choices and the views of the city were stunning. I also enjoyed the entertaining marionette show in the evenings, as well as the free snacks and happy hour. The hotel staff, especially those at the reception, were extremely helpful and made my stay perfect.

The location was central, which was convenient for our city break. the hotel was clean and the décor was in an old-fashioned style, which added to its charm. the restaurant food was good, with traditional rice and curries and a special seafood selection. the staff were friendly and helpful with top-notch service. We enjoyed happy hour on the rooftop bar, where they offered free cocktails, which was a nice surprise.

The room was smaller than expected, and the bathroom was also small. There was not enough space to walk around comfortably, which was a bit cramped.

The location was convenient, close to the palace and we were able to find a driver outside the hotel who showed us hidden gems in Mandalay. During our stay at Bagan King, my husband and I experienced exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. One afternoon, after a long day of exploring, we returned to the hotel covered in sweat and dust. We approached the reception and asked if we could take a quick shower before our overnight bus journey. Without hesitation, the receptionist arranged a vacant room for us to freshen up. We were incredibly grateful for this kind gesture. Additionally, the hotel offers a free happy hour, and even though we didn't spend any money at the restaurant, the staff treated us with utmost politeness and friendliness. The accommodation itself was lovely, with well-appointed rooms and a beautiful rooftop restaurant. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the crispy bacon. I highly recommend this hotel for its impeccable service and comfortable accommodations.
