Feeling at Home

We had the pleasure of staying at Chan Myae Guesthouse during our trip, and we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members went above and beyond to make us feel at home and were always on hand to assist with any queries or needs we had. Despite the shortcomings mentioned in some reviews, our room was clean and comfortable, providing us with a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and provided the perfect start to our day. we had a positive experience at Chan Myae Guesthouse and would recommend it to fellow travelers.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was recently renovated and painted, and it had both air conditioning and a fan. The location was perfect, with many restaurants and sightseeing spots nearby. The staff treated me so well, always being friendly and helpful, even carrying my bags down the street to call a taxi.

The only thing that could make the breakfast better is to have more variety in the options.

They always greeted us with refreshing drinks after our day of sightseeing, and they provided valuable tourist information and assistance in organizing our bus trips to Bagan. The room itself was neat and reasonably clean, with a nice ensuite bathroom. The air conditioning worked well, and the shared bathroom facilities were clean with a decent shower. Additionally, the location was convenient, being only a 15-minute walk from Sule Pagoda, and the breakfast provided was delicious. I was highly satisfied with my stay at Chan Myae Guesthouse and would highly recommend it to others.

Our stay at this guesthouse in downtown was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, even surprising us with a free night when they found out it was my birthday. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities, although there were a few holes in the mosquito netting on the windows. The location was perfect for exploring downtown Yangon and it was within walking distance to attractions like Bagyoke market. great value for the price.

The staff were helpful with organising bus tickets and taxis, and the complimentary breakfast was great, featuring a very nice local rice dish. The location of the guesthouse is fantastic, with most tourist sites within walking distance.

I recently stayed at Chan Myae Guesthouse in downtown Yangon for a few nights. The staff, including a lovely and helpful older gentleman who I believe is the uncle, truly touched my heart with their genuine kindness. They went out of their way to assist with organizing a day trip to various sights and recommended taking a boat ride to a nearby village, where we could hire a cycle rickshaw and explore the beautiful and friendly local communities. The friendly and helpful staff even helped carry our heavy suitcases up and down the steep stairs with smiles on their faces.
