As young people, we absolutely loved the unique decor and the outdoor shower in the rooms. The atmosphere was fantastic and had a real homestead feel to it. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was great and fresh, and we enjoyed the ability to view wildlife while dining. Alte Kalkoefen Lodge provided excellent facilities and a memorable experience.

I had the most wonderful stay at Alte Kalkoefen Lodge! The highlight for me was the delicious dinner and breakfast that was prepared with so much love. The food was absolutely brilliant and I felt so welcomed by the family Mouton and the staff. The outside shower was a unique experience, especially in the evening when I could gaze at the sky full of stars. It made me feel truly special and I will definitely be coming back one day. I highly recommend this lodge for its exceptional hospitality and delightful food.
