This hotel is a hidden gem on the outskirts of Windhoek. The value for money is excellent, with affordable prices and attention to detail throughout. The location in a secured residential district just outside the inner city provides a peaceful and safe atmosphere. The staff are friendly and provide great service, ensuring that basic amenities are provided in the rooms, including good wifi. Plus, having breakfast included in the rate is a bonus.

Located in a very nice area, this guest house offers a peaceful and secured stay for adventure travelers. Situated quite near to the city center, it allows easy access to explore the suburbs of Windhoek. The rooms provide extra comfort with beds and balconies, and the large bathtub adds a touch of luxury. The staff is friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. The on-site chef offers complimentary sandwiches and fruit salad, showcasing personalized service.

Friendly staff, modern design, delicious food

During my stay at Discovery Guest House, I was impressed by the friendly and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The modern design of the guest house gave it a stylish and contemporary feel. The food served at the guest house was absolutely delicious, especially the vegetarian pasta that was specially prepared for me. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the location being a bit of a walk from the city center and the WiFi signal not reaching the bedroom, overall I had a very positive experience.

Great value for money! The staff was super helpful and welcoming, they even arranged a taxi for us to reach the restaurant. The amenities were as advertised, and the clean room was a great surprise. The location was in a quiet and peaceful area, which allowed us to escape from the noisy city centre. We also enjoyed the open-plan kitchen, watching the energetic chef make our sandwiches and fruit salad was quite an experience!

The room was advertised as self-catering, but the kitchen facilities were shared, which was slightly disappointing. we couldn't find the light switch at first, but we discovered it was behind the headboard.
