We had an incredible experience staying at this lodge near Fish River Canyon. The location was excellent, surrounded by stunning desert beauty that truly made us feel like we were the only ones around for miles. The cottages were arranged in a cool circular setup, providing plenty of privacy but also allowing us to feel connected with the other guests. The food was delicious and the staff was delightful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at Gondwana! The friendly staff and delicious food made our experience truly memorable. The spacious rooms and effective air conditioning ensured a comfortable stay. We also loved the outside eating area and the exceptional buffet dinner. The landscape and outside lighting created a romantic atmosphere. we highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful recovery location after completing the Klipspringer trail in the Fish River Canyon.

Although the cabins face the main building with walkways outside, reducing privacy, this did not significantly impact our overall enjoyment. Additionally, it would have been more convenient if there were more towel hooks in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, with a beautiful setting and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are adequate and fit in perfectly with the natural surroundings. the friendly and helpful staff ensure a pleasant stay.

The dining options at the hotel could be improved to cater to different preferences and not just offer large 3-course meals.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff, especially Charles, went above and beyond to assist me with an upset stomach and provided moral support. The hotel's location is breathtaking, with beautiful scenery and hiking trails right at its doorstep. The semi-detached stone bungalows were clean, comfortable, and provided plenty of space. The buffet dinner was delicious, especially the meat, and the breakfast had a good variety of choices. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the wifi was excellent. this was a memorable stay with outstanding food and amenities.

It was all superb.
