We stayed at a campsite just outside the national park. The location was perfect, right at the entrance to Sossusvlei. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the campsite was well-maintained. The private ablutions were clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the lovely sunset views and the chilled swimming pool in the middle of the pitches.

The bug infestation was overwhelming and made us leave after just one night.

I recently stayed at Sossus Oasis Campsite for a few nights and it was an incredible experience. The campsite is perfectly located just outside the entrance of Sossusvlei, making it very convenient for exploring the park. The food at Sossus Lodge, which is nearby, was excellent and great value for money. The campsite itself was clean, well-maintained, and had ensuite private bathrooms with solar heated showers and toilets. I loved the concrete pad provided for our tent, and even though we had to secure it with rocks instead of stakes, it worked perfectly. The small shop on-site had everything we needed, but for a better eating option, we chose to dine at Sossus Lodge. staying at Sossus Oasis Campsite was a better value than staying inside the park, and we were still able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise at Sossusvlei.

Can't recommend highly enough this campsite.

We had a fantastic stay at the campsite just outside the national park. the personal ablutions block was a definite plus, with hot water in the shower, clean toilets and sinks for convenience. the large shaded patio was great, and the campsite itself was well-maintained. We loved that we didn't have to pay the conservation fee and the shop had everything we needed. the free wifi, although weak in some areas, was good enough for a WhatsApp message. Just remember not to leave food out overnight due to animals. a great location, excellent value, and friendly staff.
