We loved this hotel! The location was fantastic, with lovely gardens both in the center and at the front. The service was amazing, with staff from the front desk to the porter boy all being extremely helpful and friendly. The amenities were also top-notch, with a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, and leisure spa & wellness center all available for our use. The rooms were spacious, with a sitting area, flat-screen TV, and in-room safe. And the restaurant served delicious food, with special diet menus available.

Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable experience.

As longer term business travellers, we were extremely impressed with the suite we stayed in. It was spacious, airy, and even better than the photos. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fabulous and the location was convenient, with the fascinating Thamel market just a short walk or taxi ride away. The beautiful garden and swimming pool were also a plus. we had a fantastic experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it. Incredible value for money.

The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, even providing reliable airport pick-up. The location was perfect as it was within walking distance of the bustling Thamel area where we enjoyed exploring the bazaars and restaurants. The value for money was exceptional, especially compared to European prices. a great experience.

The gardens, although we couldn't use them due to the weather, looked beautiful. The internet was mostly strong, and the hotel even provided laundry service. I would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet retreat in Kathmandu.

Stayed at a 120-year-old palace, close to Thamel and Durbar Square. The ambiance inside made me feel the history. The spacious room was clean and safe. The staff was helpful in arranging transportation. The breakfast offered great value. The huge garden was a peaceful oasis in the midst of the city. The swimming pool was one of the best in Kathmandu, clean and undamaged. a great experience.

celebrated my birthday at shanker, exceeded expectations. beautiful decor, amazing staff, high-quality food, and thoughtful touches like ginger and lemon for tummy upset. daughters loved their spacious suites. made family time perfect with pool, garden, and generous himalayan water. a true gem in kathmandu.

This historical hotel offers an ideal location for both business and leisure travelers as it is close to the city center, main shopping areas, and the airport. The staff provides exceptional 24-hour room service with a smile. The hotel has a beautiful poolside garden and serves traditional Nepalese food as well as excellent breakfast.

The television in the room experienced some technical difficulties.

We spent our Easter break at a hotel and enjoyed two things: the free drinks and an egg hunt for kids. the hotel is located in a great area, with easy access to all the main tourist spots. We also enjoyed the beautiful interior decor of the hotel.

They seemed to be disinterested in attending to our needs. the rooms were not well maintained, some electrical sockets didn't work, and the Wi-Fi was not reliable.
