We recently stayed at a very clean hotel in Thamel, with extremely helpful and kind staff. They knew everything about the city and were always willing to share information. We had great conversations with the receptionists, who were able to organize city trips that fit our budget. the staff, especially Krishna, made us feel right at home. the abundant breakfast on the terrace, with free coffee refills, added to the good vibes of the place.

During my stay in Kathmandu, I had the pleasure of celebrating New Year's at a hotel in the heart of Thamel. the hotel offered an excellent location, with a variety of stores and amenities nearby. the staff were friendly and helpful, arranging tickets and trips for guests. Additionally, the hotel had a bustling atmosphere, which added to the festive spirit of the New Year's celebration.

There were a few negatives to my experience. the noise level in the hotel was quite high, particularly during the night, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel's location is great - right in the middle of Thamel and a short walk from the tourist bus stop. It is also near a magical street, making it easy to explore the area. The basic amenities and rooms are very good and clean, with ensuite bathrooms. The staff is amazing, always ready to help, and the breakfast is really nice, with plenty of food to start the day.

I used this hotel as a base for a stay in Nepal and stayed there on multiple occasions. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with arranging treks, transportation, and more. The location in Thamel is perfect for exploring Kathmandu and traveling to other destinations in Nepal. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable , and the showers had a strong pressure. The hotel also provided a security guard and had reliable internet.

The location was perfect, with a safe neighborhood and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beds were the comfiest we've experienced during our 3-month trip. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the restaurant and lobby were always immaculately clean. the hotel provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making our stay memorable.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Thamel for 2 weeks. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Anish, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He organized our Pokhara trip, including bus tickets, hotel, transfers, and tours. The location is perfect, just off a main street, and the rooms were comfortable and safe. The highlight was the warm and sunny balcony. The hot showers were terrific and the staff even checked on me when I was sick, bringing me flowers. We will never forget Mr. Anish's kindness and will definitely visit again.

This hotel is located in the center of Thamel which made it easy for me to move around and explore the market. The staff were very friendly and attentive to all my needs. The basic amenities were great and my room with a balcony had a fantastic view. Plus, the breakfast with hot coffee on the rooftop was perfect!

The hot water in the shared shower could be improved.
