Stayed at Hotel Spaander and had a fantastic experience. the character-filled hotel boasts beautiful period interiors and artwork, with stunning views and a small balcony. the location is perfect, situated on the pier overlooking Waddenzee. the breakfasts in the huge room with a view of the lake are amazing. What sets this hotel apart is the included amenities like the indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. the staff are friendly, helpful, and full of information. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and there are plenty of restaurants, pubs, and shops nearby. Definitely a Signature Collection experience.

Nothing 🌟 perfect.

We had such a magical experience staying at this hotel. the beautiful and interesting design made us want to explore every corner. Our modern-styled room was perfect, though there are older room types available too. the location was ideal, right in the center of everything, but still provided a retreat to the lake side or our room when we needed it. the staff was incredibly friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We felt like we were living in a real-life fairytale.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel - the view of the Ijsselmeer from our room was worth the extra euros! the rooms may be small, but they are clean and the atmosphere is lovely. the sauna was a great way to relax, and the helpful staff provided extra towels. the location is fantastic, with plenty of cafes nearby. the hotel's art collection adds a special touch, and the bistro offers reasonably priced food. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced as well.

This charming hotel is a hidden gem with a homely and comfortable atmosphere. The art and ornaments in the rooms and hallways add character and make it truly unique. The facilities, including the basement swimming pool, steam room, and sauna, were excellent. The location right on the shores of the Markermeer and in the center of Volendam was fantastic. I loved the beautiful view of the sea from my room's balcony. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. a wonderful stay!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the harbour, providing easy access to boat tours and water activities. It is situated on the shores of the Markermeer, offering beautiful views of the water. The restaurant serves delicious three-course meals, perfect for a satisfying dinner after a day of exploring.

The noise from neighboring rooms and the corridor may disrupt a peaceful stay.

Stayed at a lovely hotel with a great flair and friendly staff. the rooms may be small, but they are clean and have a peaceful view of the Ijsselmeer. the hotel has a nice atmosphere and the sauna was a relaxing bonus. the bistro offers reasonably priced food and there are plenty of cafes nearby. the hotel is well designed with different conceptual themes on each floor, and the beds are soft and comfortable. Free parking and WiFi were also available. Breakfast had both hot and cold options and the breakfast room was spacious.

I recently stayed at Hotel Spaander, BW Signature Collection for a weekend getaway. The hotel is conveniently located near the water, with a beautiful carpark separating it. The antique art in the lobby and restaurant added a unique touch to the ambiance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering us a free upgrade and a complimentary drink for my special birthday. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel had a lovely pool, although we didn't have a chance to use it.

Great location with a beautiful view, close to the touristy spots and the lake. the breakfast room was stunning and decorated traditionally. We enjoyed our family room with enough space and the tasty breakfast each morning.

The bathroom wasn't spacious enough, and the sea view came with a view of the parking lot. the restaurant had some issues with service and speed, leading to a pretty long wait for the food.

The breakfast area and main hall were beautifully decorated, adding to the charm of the hotel. The breakfast itself was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at this 1930's style hotel with its charming character and beautiful paintings everywhere. the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the bedrooms were cleaned well daily. We especially loved the outdoor terrace and the views from our room, which added to the overall experience. the location was perfect, allowing for easy access to Volendam village and its surrounds on foot. the surroundings were breathtaking, with stunning sunsets and moonrises on the horizon. the hotel also provided a secure lock-up for our bikes overnight, which was a great facility.

For us, the only downside was that the service in the restaurant was very slow, despite there being only 4 other covers. the food was good, albeit a bit expensive.
